2011 Lambing

Lambing starts from March/April onwards.  The Oklahoma heat means that the earlier in the year that the lambs can be born, the faster they will grow and the less parasite problems they endure.
Petal lambed prematurely on February 17th.  She was bred to Majyk.
Guinevere lambed on March 24th, 2011.  A 7lb pitch black ewe lamb out of Samuel. 
Olive lambed on March 28th, 2011 - a 6 lb black and white spotted ewe lamb out of Majyk.  Ophelia will be staying.

Wendy lambed on April 1st, 2011!  A black 8lb leggy ewe lamb named Willow, out of Prestor.  Wendy is being a very protective mom.

Mia twins again April 3rd! 
Way to go Mia - she twinned as a one winter ewe and now as a two winter ewe!  Two gorgeous jet black 5lb ewe lambs out of Samuel.

Not to be outdone, Viola gave birth at 11pm on April 3rd - a lovely spotted black and white ewe lamb of 8lbs!  Violet has the cutest white marking around her nose, the top of her head, and white socks so now we know that both Viola and Samuel carry spotting!

Annie, Viola's daughter by Leifurson, gave birth on Sunday afternoon, April 10th, to a lovely white ram lamb, Cassanova, out of Prestor, our Kunningi grandson.

Petunia gave birth to a lovely black ewe lamb, Pansy, out of Prestor during the early evening of Tuesday, April 12th.
