LaMancha Dairy Goats
The LaMancha was created by Mrs. Eula Fay Frey from Oregon in the 1930's and formally recognized in 1960 when the official herdbook was opened.
There are a multitude of excellent websites that detail the history of the LaMancha so I will confine our website to our personal observations, the most important of which is this:
- If my husband hadn't thought the LaManchas were graceful, like deer, I would still be goat-less.
He has a strict no-goat policy - according to him, he hasn't broken the rule since he says "the ladies" look like deer and behave like dogs!
