Don't be fooled into thinking that bucks are not important. They truly are better than 50% of your herd. An ill-matched buck can do more to wreck your breeding plans than you will ever believe. We hope that we don't make that mistake!
We will strive to choose herd sires and AI sires that not only bring out the best of our does, but consistently improve upon them - the goal of any breeding plan. With a lot of help from mentors and people in the goat community, we hope we will meet, and exceed, our goal of breeding quality, good producing LaManchas.

Nut-N-Honey VG Braveheart - 'Mel'
Mel is a cream colored buck. He has a lovely head and breed character which he passes onto his offspring. His body has plenty of depth, also wide and high through the escutcheon. His feet and legs are correct.
His Dam, SGCH Forrest Pride EC Greta Garbo (LA 90 VEEE) is the 2010 AGS National LaMancha Sr. Champion doe and Best Udder of Breed. |
