We lost our Gallant Lady, Nanna, last night.
Approximately 2 weeks ago, she suddenly lost the ability to walk so we bedded her down in the barn and provided supportive care. She ate with gusto and enjoyed our visits until last night when she let us know her clock was winding down.
She has been such a big part of our flock in the time she has been with us and I want to thank Laurie Ball-Gisch for giving us the opportunity to have her in our flock.
She leaves us a legacy in the form of her daughter, and grand-daughter.
